The Jamma IT Candidate Experience
Once you've registered
and are accepted onto our talent-bank, you will begin receiving e-mailed
notification of projects in your areas of expertise for which we are
seeking candidates. If you see a project that is of interest, please
respond quickly. In your response you should include your latest résumé
and a relevant summary of your experience highlighting and giving more
detail of those accomplishments that are directly relevant to the client’s
situation. This is your best opportunity to market your skills to us
and our clients.
We conduct telephone and face-to-face interviews only in the context of an actual
assignment depending on where you are based. If you are chosen for an interview,
you will meet with an Jamma IT Senior Consultant to discuss the project and in
certain situations will be asked to sit an online test to show your level of
experience and calibre for the interim position you are applying for.
A number of factors determine whether we are the right interim management recruitment
agency for you. Our clients typically look for 5-20+ years of corporate experience
in positions of increasing responsibility. For interim positions it is helpful
(though not a prerequisite) if a candidate has accomplished at least one interim
assignment. The volume of candidate résumés that we receive monthly (nearing 1,000),
makes individualised responses impractical. It also means that in some cases,
it may be up to four weeks before your résumé is reviewed by one of our Senior Interim
Consultants.
